Easter Letter 2018

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

If we pray and act in the name of Jesus the Good Shepherd, then we are already coming to a deeper understanding of all our brothers, and sisters, and to more compassion and generosity towards them, and especially towards those who are like lost sheep, those with whom nobody falls in love, and who first need great love, encouragement, and respect before we can expect from them a satisfying response.

Happy Easter! Selamat Hari Raya Paskah!

复活节快乐!

May the Risen Christ continue to bless us with joy and peace!

How was your Easter celebration?  Hopefully it was a joyous celebration.
I attended the Mandarin Palm Sunday Mass at St. Ignatius Chapel and then visited Fr. Naylor, SJ.

I was in Macau for the Easter Triduum: attending the Cantonese Holy Thursday Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church followed by adoration, Contemporary Stations of the Cross at Mount Song, English Good Friday Liturgy at St. Lawrence Church and Cantonese Easter Vigil Mass at St. Joseph the Worker’s Church.  Eleven adult were baptized at St. Joseph the Worker’s Church.  Our Macau sisters invited several Comboni Fathers for Paschal Meal on Thursday.  Srs. Sue, Anne, Theresa and I did Easter egg coloring on Saturday morning.
I went back to Hong Kong on Easter Sunday morning to attend the Easter Sunday Mass and first mass with Indonesian Community of Fr. Toto Bardata, SVD followed by celebration.  Three adult were baptized and one received Sacrament of Chrism only.
It was a joyous Easter celebration.
