Christmas Letter 2025 (updated on Jan 4, 2026)

 Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, 

Christmas greetings from New York!

How is your Christmas celebration?  Hopefully all of you have a lovely Christmas celebration with family and friends.

            I attended the Christmas Eve Mass at Our Lady of Martyr: https://ourladyqueenofmartyrs.org/, Christmas Day Mass at Transfiguration Church: https://www.transfigurationnyc.org/, Christmas celebration with Chinese community at St. Mary's Nativity - St. Ann https://marynatstann.org/, Indonesian Mass of Holy Family Feast Day and Christmas celebration at Resurrection Ascension Church Resurrection-Ascension Parish - Rego Park, NY

            I donated my 28th platelet donation on Dec 27: Anastasia Maryknoll: Poster: Blood Donation (updated on Dec 3, 2025)

Since there is a need for a Putonghua training on Marriage Preparation Program, I organized an online training besides online Marriage Preparation Program:

2. Anastasia Maryknoll: Sharing: 2025 Online Putonghua Marriage Preparation Program (updated on Dec 6, 2025)  The 62th couple finished the program this month and several couple didn't finish it.

The tea party at Love Cafe is still continued mostly on Saturday evening to celebrate the life and mission of our sisters: Anastasia Maryknoll: Sharing: 2025 Love Cafe (updated on Dec 13, 2025).  The 80th tea party was held on Dec 30, 2025.  I set up the Pro-Life Nativity:  https://americanfaith.com/pro-life-nativity-vatican/ at Love Cafe.

I joined research as healthy volunteer besides signed for organ, body, brain and spinal cord donation: Anastasia Maryknoll: Sharing: Healthy Volunteer for Research

As my first R1 visa was expired, I went to Hong Kong for the R1 visa interview, to Shenzhen while waiting the to pick up the passport and then went to Indonesia. Since this year is my 18th anniversary as a Maryknoll Sister, double 18th of Sacrament of Initiation and triple 18th of human experiences, I named all the trips as a Safari of Gratitude including trips to New York City, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington DC:

Several coincidences that happened this year, including getting consolation after "the excitement of Treasurer and community life", continue to be a reminder of Emmanuel, God with us, in my journey as a Pink Maryknoll Sister: doing simple things with simple love to make God's love visible.
