Sharing: Online Putonghua Talk on Dating, Intimacy and Boundaries

Ms. Sherman of The Hong Kong Catholic Marriage Advisory Council offered an online Putonghua talk on Dating, Intimacy and Boundaries during our first meeting.

Less than 10 youth from my group chatting registered so I forwarded the poster to the priests and sisters in my group chatting.  Several of them wanted to attend it but I said it’s for the youth.  There were 36 registered on Jun 13 but only 2-8 youth could join the talk.

Ms. Anna gave the insightful talk on Sunday June 13, 2021 for 2 hours.  Mr. Clement, her husband, also shared his experiences at the end of the talk.

Sharing: Online Putonghua Talk for Parents on Sex Education for Children

Mr. Kevin recommended Ms. Vanessa of Caritas when I asked him if Diocesan Pastoral Commission for Marriage and Family can give an online Putonghua talk for parents on my group chatting about sexual education for children.

I met Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Rosa to talk about it at their Caritas Family Service office and gave me a set of hand out.  We agreed to arrange the talk on Jun 11 evening for 1.5 hours.

Mr. Cai helped to make the online registration form to be forwarded to the lay people group chatting that I formed.  Nobody registered till Jun 4 so I also forwarded the poster to the priests and sisters in my group chatting.  The maximum capacity supposed to be 20 persons but I accepted 31 persons as usually several of them couldnt make it.  Several priests and sisters wanted to attend it but I said it’s for parents.

We conducted the talk from Caritas Jockey Club Tsuen Wan Social Service Building.  There were 12-18 people joined the 腾讯会议for the talk. I encouraged them to invite their husband/wife to join the group chatting and attend the talk.

They are grateful for the insightful talk as per attached pictures.

Sharing: Online Putonghua Talk on Interpersonal Relationships and Psychosexual Development

I asked Fr. Fabio to give an online talk on Interpersonal Relationships and Psychosexual Developmentthis on Jun 9, 2021 for 3 hours.  There were 30 priests and sisters registered and all of them listened to the talk most of the time.  Most of them are participants of the online training on Marriage Preparation Program https://anastasialindawatimm.blogspot.com/2021/05/sharing-on-line-putonghua-training-on.html and referral.  The maximum participants supposed to be 20 because sometimes the internet is not good but based on previous classes, several of them couldnt attend it so I accepted all the registration. We conducted the talk from PIME House.  I had been thinking to invite Fr. Fabio to give a talk at Holy Family Church but it didn't happen yet.

They were grateful for the insightful talk and several of them asked about the afternoon session. I had been conducting online classes both morning and afternoon sessions these days so they assume there would be both morning and afternoon sessions.

Fr. Fabio invited me to stay for lunch with his community so I had a chance to meet Fr. Mario, whom I know since I was in language school in Guangzhou, Fr. Lo, Fr. Piero and Br. John.
